“I call on the Muslims of the world as well as on all Muslims governments to join forces to cut down this usurper and its supporters. I invite Muslims all over the globe to consecrate the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan- which is a `day of fate’ and which could also become the day on which the fate of the Palestinian people might be determined – as `Quds Day’.”
On August 7th, 1979, the Late Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Rouhullah Mousavi Khomeini (qs), declared the last Friday of the Holy Month of Ramadan as “International QudsDay” to highlight the plight of oppressed Palestinian Muslims and Christians. Millions of people of conscience around the world stage protest marches, rallies and conferences to mark this occasion.
For more than 70 years now Genocidal Zionist savages with the help of genocidal European savages illegally occupied Palestine, drove off the indigenous population and massacred innocent civilians. Since then these bloodthirsty savages are killing defenseless Palestinians on daily basis.
Genocidal European savages fabricated a fraudulent “peace process” to curtail Palestinian Resistance and officially enslaved them. Sadly the then Palestinian leadership fell into this trap and became officially enslaved to the Zionist occupiers. When Global Zionism succeeded in getting the Christian Zionist Trump to the White House, the fraudulent mask of the fraudulent so-called peace process fell off and monumental deception became clear. Trump who is a rabid Muslim-hater and a shameless Islamophobe transfered the US embassy to occupied Jerusalem to satisfy his Zionist masters. Oppressed Palestinians realized that only peaceful and armed Resistance is the only solution to their liberation.
Recently oppressed Palestinians launched the #GreatMarchOfReturn Movement from liberated Gaza strip to highlight their right to Return to their Homeland. Genocidal Israeli savages brutally slaughtered 60+ Palestinian civilians on a single day that plunged the whole world in shock but the hypocritical European savages were silent and shamelessly refused to condemn this extreme inhuman savagery and monstrous barbarism.
It is important to note the traitorous betrayal of Palestinians by most Arab leaders and the most notorious is the Saudi regime. The Saudi regime openly and publicly embrace the Zionist regime under the guise of curtailing the rising IRAN. Arab betrayal of Palestine is total as most Arab regimes are colonies of genocidal European savages. Arab regimes under the agenda of Western imperialism raised military Coalition to destroy Yemen and massacre Yemeni children and women but they did not raise coalition to Free Palestine. Everyday the Saudi-led coalition is bombing Yemen and killing Yemeni civilians.
In Africa the biggest supporter of Palestine is the leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky. More than two years ago, the Saudi regime ordered the Evil Nigerian tyrant Buhari to attack Sheikh Zakzaky and destroy the iconic Zaria Husseiniyya, the biggest Shia religious site in Africa. The Buhari regime brutally slaughtered 1000+ innocent Nigerian civilians and wickedly dumped the dead bodies in mass graves at night to bury the evidences. Since then the Buhari regime is holding Sheikh Zakzaky and his wife in illegal detention incommunicado despite court ordered their freedom. The Saudi crown prince, Mohammed bin Salman, recently boasted in an interview with American Times that they are behind the Zaria genocide and the illegal detention of Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky. Despite the illegal detention of Sheikh Zakzaky, the Islamic Movement continue to hold massive QudsDay protest rallies across more than 50 cities and towns in Nigeria and this year will not be an exception.
On a final note, we call on all Nigerians and people of conscience to join the QudsDay protest rally. Selective feelings of the human pains is barbaric and animalistic. We should feel the pains of all humanity and Occupied Palestine is in pains.
